Breakable - What's in the Warehouse?
Today’s consumer doesnt want to just buy a product, they want to invest in a brand’s values, ethics and team culture. Breakable is the largest solution-based e-commerce store based in Sydney, Australia.
The Brief
To bring a human face to this multi-faceted business, that feautures a large warehouse.
“We want Breakable to be seen as more than just a warehouse. There are so many different parts to our business. We want people who look at our website to know that we are professional, trustworthy and people focused.”
The Plan
A half day shoot for both photography and videography meant that a tight timeline would be needed.
We worked with team members to ensure they wore clothing on the day that matched the brand colours, and had the props needed for each section of the shoot ready to go.
As we were not dealing with professional models, we allowed extra time per shot, to give the team members time to relax and get used to the camera. A very important part of using non professional talent.
The Shoot
Using real staff and team members, added a genuine quality to the photos. In addition to minimising the cost of the shoot, it also meant the people in the shots looked comfortable in the way they performed tasks in the warehouse and office environment.
The Feedback
Breakable achieved both photo and video content at a very reasonable rate, all with only half a day of shooting on site. A fast and efficient shoot does usually mean additional preparation time. This was something that Breakable were happy to commit to, and prepared thoroughly to ensure we stuck to the time period while getting all the shots they needed. This also meant very little downtime for their busy staff.
